ITINERARY.
Day 1: Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi National Park:
You will be picked up from your hotel or ferry at 0400am to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in Mikumi in midmorning and will directly go for a game drive to explore the park. Mikumi National Park is one of Tanzania's most famous parks.  After your game drive, you will leave the park and head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Better we stay inside the park it will be nice.


Activities: Game drive. & Hiking at udzungwa
In case you don’t prefer Hiking, we can still do Mikumi game drive for both days.
You can advise us on the same.

You can choose to stay inside the Park or to stay at camp Bastian.

Staying at camp Bastian – its located outside the park 15 – 20 drive from the main gate.

Mikumi cottages located inside the park so all the time you are inside.


Day 2: Mikumi National Park - Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
 
 After breakfast you will leave the lodge and start your safari towards the Udzungwa mountains for a day of hiking. Upon arrival you will meet our guide/rangers who will accompany you on the hiking tour. Udzungwa Mountains National Park is well known for its excellent hiking, trekking, mountain climbing, and forest walks. The most popular hiking tour is up to the Sanje waterfalls, looking for monkeys, swimming in plunge pools, and enjoying the spectacular view while enjoying a picnic lunch. After your hiking tour you will descend the mountains and join your driver to start your journey back to Mikumi for dinner and your overnight stay.
 
Accommodation: camp Bastian or Mikumi cottage on full board
 
 
Day 3: Mikumi –  Back to Dar es Salaam:
After breakfast you will check out and begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
Arrival Dar es salaam our driver will be dropped you at the ferry to catch the 1600 ferry boat to Zanzibar, you will have your tickets at hand so no hectic when you arrive at the ferry departure gate. The ride takes 2 hours from Dar – Zanzibar.
This will mark the end of this tour.
