2-Day 1 Night Mikumi Cottage Accommodation Inside Park
This package is best for clients departing late from Zanzibar and connects or from Dar es salaam safari will give the clients the chance to explore with extra time at the park. This tour will depart any time from morning to mid-morning, pick up from airport ferry or hotel and start the trip to Mikumi np as soon as we enter the park we will then depart the next day after game drive this tour is the best choice for all the clients arriving late at the gate and will get out late the next day.
Day 1 -
Our driver-guide will pick you up from Dar-es-salaam/ ferry /airport/ around 1000 am - 1200, then drive to Mikumi National Park. Arrival in Mikumi, at late afternoon then departs for a game drive to explore Mikumi National Park. The park is one of Tanzania's larger parks and has excellent birdlife as well, as being good for viewing predators. Sleeping inside the park will give you much time to explore, accommodation at Mikumi cottage, Kilimanjaro drinking water will be provided at all the time.
Day 2 -
After breakfast checks out from the cottage, you will depart for another half day game drive later you will start to drive back to Dar es salaam, the landscape of Mikumi is often compared to that of the Serengeti. The road that crosses the park divides it into two areas with partially distinct environments. The area north-west is characterized by the alluvial plain of the river basin Mkata. The vegetation of this area consists of savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm. In this area, at the furthest from the road, there are spectacular rock formations of the mountains Rubeho and Uluguru. The southeast part of the park is less rich in wildlife, and not very accessible. After the game drive, you will depart the park to mark the end of this tour.
