  Day 1 - zanizbar - Dar es salaam  - Mikumi  national Park : On this day we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the ferry Port to catch your ferry boat from azam fast ferries which departs at 0700am - 0900am or a little early 0830 depending on the sea. arrive in Dar es Salaam Port, our driver will meet you and Start the safari to Mikumi National Park which will take approx 5 hours to drive while passing to different Tanzania villages before you arrive at Mikumi. You will have a break for early lunch and coffee before you proceed. On arrival you will check in at your hotel at Camp Bastian -  http://www.campbastian.com later you will depart for Masai Boma to experience the Masai life and get a tour of their boma/ dance and have a moment to chat with them about their lives.  after this activity, you will return back to the camp for dinner and overnight all food included. The tour started at 4pm with a pick up from our hotel and drive to Mikumi national park. We arrived around 9am and had plenty of time to spend in the Savannah. Abundance of animals and our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
