6-Days Serengeti Calving Season Tour - Ndutu




Day 1- Arusha - Tarangire National Park:"
After breakfast you will depart your Arusha hotel at 0700hrs and make your way to Tarangire National Park (an approximately two-hour journey). Upon arrival you will go directly on a game drive. Tarangire is famous for its big elephant herds and giraffes. After your drive you will make your way to Africa Safari Glamping camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Romantic Dinner for you.

Day 2 - Tarangire - Lake manyara National Park:
After breakfast you will depart with a picnic lunch in hand towards the Lake manyara np. Upon your arrival at the gate, will take care of the park formalities and fees before making your way into lake manyara game drive for the full. You will enjoy game drive before returning to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3 -& 4 Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park: Ndutu Area
Today you will explore the Serengeti plains. You may even get the chance to view the great calving period of the wildebeests that takes place here from Jan – end of March. Eat lunch at the picnic site and then continue on your game drive before returning to Chaka Camp at 1800hrs for dinner and overnight.
  
calving season down south around Ndutu is simply spectacular, where between late January and March an estimated 500,000 young wildebeest are born. Of course, the masses of young are meals in waiting for predators, with plenty of hunts and kills happening as the concentrated herds attract around good numbers of lion, cheetah and hyena. It’s a great time for photography, with elephant, giraffe and buffalo being pretty easy to spot amongst many flat topped acacia trees and across sweeping grasslands.
   

Day 5 - serengeti - Ngorongoro crater:
Eat breakfast and then start driving to the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a game drive en route. The crater is famous for its animal population, which is practically unrivaled. Only in the crater you can see certain species of rhino up close! After the game drive you will drive to Eileen’s Tree Inn for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6 - Eileen’s - Arusha:
After breakfast you will depart from Eileen’s Tree Inn and then drive to Arusha. You will be dropped off at either the airport or a hotel. This will mark up the end of this tour.
