Your 4 day’s Rwanda gorilla safari will give a total wild trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park, which is one of the hot spot to trek the gorillas, known for the famous mountain gorillas. The safari will also give you a taste of the community experience as you drive in the country side and opportunity to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds were over 250000 Rwandese who suffered the genocide incidence were buried. You will as well have an opportunity to trek the golden monkeys.

Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Musanze: Travel time +2 hrs

Meet your guide after breakfast at your hotel, you will share a short briefing and drive to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds, which honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. You will be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors’ of the incident. You will proceed with your Kigali city tour, with more view to other city areas and later you will proceed for lunch and drive to your booked accommodation in Ruhengeri and later spend afternoon, with a visit to Elle DeGeneres Campus of Diane Fossey Institute, which act as a research and education center. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking Experience and Ellen museum visit

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the Rwanda’s officials and thereafter drive to the trekking starting point, have a short briefing before entering into the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience in Rwanda, you will have informative memorable experience in life. Return for lunch, and in afternoon visit the Iby Iwacu cultural experience, get the taste of the Rwandan culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali Airport

After having your morning breakfast, you will head for golden monkey trekking, which is almost same as gorilla trekking procedure but less hectic. Later return for lunch, before transfer to Kigali. You may have an added Kigali city tour, later have dinner, before you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight. End of service!. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & diner
