The following is the itinerary of your safari


Day 1

Zanzibar - Fly to Mikumi

This tour will start from your hotel in Zanzibar. Our driver will pick you up at 05h30 and proceed to the airport to catch a flight to Mikumi which departs at 07h00. The pick-up time will differ depending on the location of the client's hotel. From out of Stone Town, we will pick them up as per the schedule above. Otherwise, if the client is staying in Stone Town, we will pick them up at 06h00. The drive time to the airport is less than half an hour.

On arrival at the airstrip, our driver will meet you from where you will start the safari. Explore Mikumi National Park for the full day, including an afternoon break for lunch inside the bush. Proceed on the afternoon game drive before heading to your booked accommodation at Vuma Hills tented camp on a full-board basis.

Before heading to the camp, you will have a moment to chat with the Maasai at a Maasai boma, and learn about their culture and how they live.


Main Destination: Mikumi National Park

Day 2

Mikumi National Park to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park to do more exploring and get the experience of a lifetime. You will have your lunch box while doing the game drive. After the game drive, you will depart toward the airstrip to catch your flight at 16h30 to Zanzibar. You will arrive at 17h15 in Zanzibar where our driver will be ready to transfer you to your accommodation in Zanzibar. This will mark the end of this tour.

General expectations: You can expect to see different animals including lions, elephants in large groups, herds of Thomson's gazelles, and many giraffes. You will also visit the Hippo Pool. You will meet the Maasai and learn about their life. This tour offers you a wonderful and beautiful experience.
