Day 2: Full game drive n the Serengeti

Today after breakfast you will drive to for a full day game drive. The Serengeti is famous for its wildebeest migration crossing the Grumeti and Mara rivers (June-August). 2.5 million Wildebeest driven by the same ancient rhythms follow their instincts on the inescapable cycle of life which includes a frenzied territorial conquest, mating, and survival of the fittest. They form a 25 mile (40km) long column, plunge through crocodile-infested waters on their annual exodus north, and replenish their species during a brief population explosion that produces more than 300,000 calves over a 3 week period following their 1,200 mile (2,000 km) pilgrimage.
