ITINERARY. Day 1 & 2: Depart - Dar es Salaam - Selous Great Game reserve: You will be picked-up in Dar es Salaam and begin your drive to the Selous Game Reserve. When you arrive at the Hippocamp you will check-in and enjoy a hot lunch. After lunch, you will take off on your first game drive where you will see hippo and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay. After breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed lunch in hand to enjoy a full day game drive in the Selous Game Reserve. Selous is well known for its animals and boat safaris. Lion, elephant, zebra, and giraffe can be viewed all over the park. After your game drive, you will return to the lodge, check-out, and take off on a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji River. After the boat safari, you will travel to Hippocamp for dinner and your overnight stay.

 Day 3 - Selous Great Game reserve - Dar es salaam: 
You will rise early and take part in a unique walking safari and then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will check-out and drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving before dark. We will make sure you arrive in Dar es Salaam in time to proceed to Zanzibar by ferry or by flight. We also arrange tours in Zanzibar. This is where your safari will end.
