4-Day Mafia Island Swim with Whale Shark

Day 1 & 2 - Dar es salaam /- Mafia Island.

Depart from Dar Es Salaam with coastal or auric or coastal flight light flight to Mafia. The departure time is 1030am and you will arrive in Mafia at 1115. Then you will be picked up from airport and transferred to Mafia Lodge. Keep in mind that the marine park fees are not included and should be paid directly by client either by cash usd 25 per day or a payment by Mastercard or visa card. Later, dinner and overnight will be at Mafia Lodge.
History:
Mafia Island's history goes back to the 8th century. The island once played a major role in ancient trade between the people of East Asia and East Africa. It was a regular stop for Arab boats. On the tiny island of Chole Mjini, just offshore in Chole Bay, once stood a settlement that constituted one of the most important towns controlling trade from the silver mines of Eastern Zimbabwe, which reached the town via the old ports of Kilwa and Michangani.[citation needed

Day 3 - Mafia Island Decide what to do: 

After breakfast, the clients will decide what they want to do and we will corporate. It is an ideal location for diving and whale sharks’ trips. Visit the Chole mjini, explore around the island or simply relax by the beach while watching bat foxes flying over your head at sun set.

Mafia is known as a beautiful Indian Ocean tropical resort that is famous for deep sea fishing and scuba diving. Aquatic life is abundant and the coral gardens are pristine due to the protection of the Mafia Island Marine Park. The park is located between the Rufiji River delta to the west and the open Indian Ocean to the east.
The dual influences of the river and the sea have combined to create a rich and exceptional biodiversity with unique landscapes under the sea and on dry land.
It is a unique and perfect destination as part of a safari package or simply a place to unwind and get away from the daily, modern and busy world.

After exploring in deep then depart for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4 - Mafia - Dar es salaam – Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, which starts at 0630am, clients will relax around the lodge before heading to the airport to catch the Auric or coastal aviation flight back to Dar es Salaam. The flight departs at 1545 and will be arriving in Dar es salaam at 1615. There the clients will be transferred to their hotel or residence. However, the flight times are due to availability.
