Sauti za Busara festival brings together people from different backgrounds to celebrate African music under African skies. The 2018 edition will rock the walls of Zanzibar’s Stone Town over four days during 8 – 11 February 2018 with 44 performances live on three stages. #SzB2018 Festival Events #UnitedinMusic: 400 artists perform 44 shows on three stages: Old Fort; Forodhani Gardens (Feb 8 – 11) Carnival Parade: All are welcomed to join the festival kick off with ‘Full Mzuka!’ across the city (Feb 8) Swahili Encounters:  Local and visiting musicians meet, exchange and collaborate (Feb 5 – 10) Movers & Shakers: Networking for local and visiting music industry professionals (Feb 9 – 11) After-Party: Busara vibes continue with African music DJs at a fabulous beach location tbc (Feb 13) Busara Xtra: Festival fringe activities across Zanzibar. Let us know; we’ll promote your events (Feb 1 – 17)

Tickets & Passes Tickets for Sauti za Busara 2018 are available online to buy securely and safely with 50% discount for all African passport-holders and EAC Residents. Special prices are offered for Tanzanian citizens. Get Involved Selling tickets is not a problem, but these cover only 30% of festival costs. To go ahead as planned, the festival urgently needs more sponsors. Stalls & Traders A limited number of stall spaces are available for rental inside or close to the Old Fort throughout the festival, to trade or display your goods.
